Psalm 79 // Worship in the Rubble

“The Christian life is not always easy. Sometimes it’s two steps forward and one step back. It takes a walk of discipline and resistance to temptation. And when we fall, our enemy applauds as we live in shame and guilt, spiritually frozen. Didn’t Christ pay for ALL your sins? Isn’t God faithful to forgive and cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness?

YES! Embrace a fresh perspective of His compassion. You will find a ray of hope for your troubled soul. You’re never too far gone. Praise the Lord!

In Psalm 79, God’s disobedient people lost their land and temple. The city's in ruins; blood has flowed like a river. The enemy mocks, and God’s judgment falls. Hard days for Israel. However, God has not abandoned them. He still loves them deeply. The Psalm ends not with a change of scenery but a reminder of God’s faithfulness. Hope and praise shine through the darkness.”
