““Restore us, O God; let Your face shine, that we may be saved.”

This request is scattered all throughout Psalm 80. I combined this plea with the imagery of Israel as a vine when creating my block print. The darkness is filled with predators eager to devour the vine. But where the Lord’s light breaks through, the vine is secure. The evils lurking in the darkness have no power in the light. The vine can thrive in the safety of where God’s face shines.”
