Church Planting

“A vigorous and continuous approach to church planting is the only way to guarantee an increase in the number of believers, and is one of the best ways to renew the whole body of Christ.”
Tim Keller, Why Plant Churches?

If Jesus has truly sent us into the world to make disciples of all nations, an essential piece of that missional strategy is the work of church planting. Early followers of Jesus did not merely look to save isolated individuals, but began local communities of faith in Jesus' name. From the ascension of Jesus, the primary missional strategy of the New Testament and beyond, has been missional church planting.

Therefore, at Providence, we seek to pray, support, and engage in the work of church planting. Our goal is to see many churches planted in new areas so that new people can experience the grace of Jesus Christ.
