“In Psalm 83, the Psalmist tells of multitudes of enemies all around. To capture this, I depicted Israel as a helpless lamb. From the lamb's perspective, it has nowhere to go but into the jaws of the sea serpent. But in reality, the serpent is as good as dead.
Its tail is already caught up in the hurricane. In moments, the threat will be completely removed.”
