Psalm 81 // Listen to Me

Psalm 81 // Listen to Me
Andrew Rutten

“This artwork is of a man made of stone. There is light shining from above, and where the light touches him, the stone is crumbling away. Where the stone has crumbled away, there is a man with a joyful face and a posture of worship. The light represents the Lord, and the stone crumbling away is representative of the Lord "removing the burden from his shoulders" and "rescuing him." Where the light is not touching, the man remains solid stone - representing his "stubborn heart" trapping him.”
