LEADERSHIP

Elders

We believe the highest level of servant leadership in the church resides in the office of eldership. These men are qualified according to Biblical standards (1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9), set apart by the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:28), and called to serve the church through shepherding and oversight (1 Peter 5:1-2).
We consider this team to be the servant leaders of Providence Church.

Staff

The Elders of Providence Church are called to set the direction and vision for the church. The staff, then, are called to help practically carry out that vision in the church. The primary calling for staff is to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). We believe staff personnel are those called to vocational ministry for the equipping of the church or their development for future ministry.
